Everything I wanted Nate Diaz fought strangers and grappled on the street with Comedian Shane

Nate Diaz is as authentic as they come, something Shane Gillis appreciates from his core. Hence when he had the opportunity to spend a night out with the Diaz entourage there was no chance he would refuse. Gillis would later go on to recount the experience as one of the best in his life.

Shane Gillis who gained the biggest boost to his career after being canceled from SNL before even his first appearance has gained a safe house in Joe Rogan who finds the comedian incredibly funny and often brings him out to shows. One such instance was when Rogan brought out Gillis to California where he was hosting a show before being on broadcasting duties for the UFC the day after.

It was after this show, that one of Nate’s entourage approached Gillis inviting him to hang out with Nate. Gillis an enormous Diaz fan got the all-clear from Joe to go ahead without him, after which he was taken to a bar at Huntington Beach around 1 am in the night. Gillis described the entourage as the “warmest group of bros” welcoming him to the party and offering him beer right as he entered.

Gillis called Nate Diaz to be the one guy who he always wanted to hang out with and assured that the experience did not disappoint. “The whole time he was funny, anybody asked for a picture and Nate would be like (imitating Diaz) ‘Hell yeah’ ” Describing how Diaz was always eager to interact with his fans regardless of where it was.

Gillis then found out the negatives or more accurately the risks of hanging around a Diaz as he said, “The second it seemed that one guy was being confrontational he attacked them with zero hesitation” describing how a brawl broke out between a buff guy in a tank top and Nate Diaz cause the fighter felt the former was mean-mugging him.

As the night progressed Gillis found out that the Nate Diaz entourage never stops grappling. “Different dudes would start grappling and I would stand there wishing please don’t get me, “ said Gillis describing how the group waited outside the bar for an hour grappling on the street.

When it came time to book an Uber back to Nate’s place it was chaotic as most of the entourage thought they were grappling on the street while waiting for their uber. “Everyone sat there shouting where is the f**king Uber? And two different guys would start wrestling” said Gillis describing the incident as “Heaven” and “everything he ever wanted”

Gillis then described the AirBnB Nate dunked at as “Guy Heaven” since the place was littered with beer cans, bongs and nunchucks. In another version of the story Gillis also told about meeting Marvin Vettori during the night out.
