When is Phillip Loveday funeral?

According to a previous Corpus Christi Police Department statement, Loveday left his home for work around 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 2. Meléa Loveday, his wife, told police she became concerned after “she received a phone call that he did not show up for work or church” where he was expected to preach that day.

Loveday’s family told KRIS 6 that he appeared to have left his phone at home the day he went missing, but they didn’t think much of it because he was always able to reach them during the day. He did not, however, this time.

“He would definitely always just answer back, so that was very suspicious right away,” Kayleigh Purnell, Loveday’s oldest daughter, told KRIS 6.

“It was just, ‘Oh, why didn’t he answer?'”

The family of late Texas Pastor Phillip Loveday, who was discovered dead from an apparent suicide by authorities on Tuesday, is now suffering with grief after their six-day search for him came to an end.
